Carnesecca Arena tickets & upcoming events

Carnesecca Arena is one of those places that just oozes history and character. Opened way back in 1961, it’s seen some iconic moments in college hoops, like that unforgettable night in 2017 when the St. John’s women’s team pulled off a stunning upset over UConn, leaving the crowd buzzing. This arena isn’t just about basketball, though. It hosts local youth tournaments that bring the community together and showcase the region’s future stars. Back in 1993, hosting the NIT Championship put the arena on the national map, and it’s still a hub for exciting events today. If you’re into the premium experience, the dedicated sections are pretty sweet, VIP lounges, shorter lines, that sort of thing, perfect if you’re celebrating a special night out. The location’s pretty convenient too; if you’re in Forest Hills, bus route 67 drops you right at the doors, and from the west side of the city, the Henry Hudson Parkway makes popping in easy. Honestly, there’s a certain charm about catching a game or a concert here, it’s got history, a lively atmosphere, and plenty of ways to make your visit memorable. Whether you’re a die-hard sports fan or just looking for a fun night, Carnesecca Arena is a spot worth checking out.
